A deal between PIF and Gladbach for the striker is reportedly close to being “wrapped up.”
Newcastle and Gladbach have spoken about the cost of the transfer. Gladbach wants close to €12million (£10.5 million) for the forward, given that his contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
Newcastle management are only willing to pay under £10million but the report suggest that an agreement should be reached in the next few days.
